Dutcher (Founder/CEO)
Mr Dutcher was the COO/GM of Dim Mak while at Dim Mak Mr. Dutcher was responsible
for forming a joint venture with Downtown Music/Universal Music, creating
Dim Mak Music Publishing, Dim Mak Collection, Dim Mak Concert Promotions,
Dim Mak Branding and Dim Mak Radio underwritten by Microsoft. While
at Dim Mak Mr. Dutcher assisted
major brands such as Diesel, BMP/Over America, 55DSL, KREW, Plantronics,
Zune, ScanDisk, Microsoft and others on how to
market successfully into the 18-34 year old demographic.
Dim Mak Records is recognized as the worldwide leader in dance music
with artists such as MSTRKRFT, Armand Van Helden, The Bloody Beetroots,
Steve Aoki, Motor, Bloc Party, The Kills and more. Under Mr. Dutcher's
tenure Dim Mak grew from an independent record label into a
fully intergraded media/branding company.
Mr.
Dutcher is the founder of MAD Management and consulting, a full
service artist management and consulting firm that
developed relationships with major recording companies, publishing
companies, new media distributors, IPTV, technology companies, gaming
developers, venues, merchandising firms, film and television placement and
other methods of revenue building for MAD Management clients.
Prior
to MAD Management, Mr. Dutcher founded and operated MeTV Networks, Inc. the
Premier Distributor of Film, Music, Sports, News and Entertainment
Programming delivered globally to televisions via Broadband, he worked with
all of the major recording, publishing, cable networks, cable companies
(MSO), technology companies, film distributors and television networks.
During his tenure Mr. Dutcher was involved with the creation of the
IP distribution window for full length feature films that had a wide
theatrical release and home television agreements. Further Mr.
Dutcher created a methodology that allowed MeTV to be first to market with
standard television channels such as E!, style, Ovation and the like to be delivered over the public
internet exactly like cable or satellite providers. Mr. Dutcher has spent his career managing
and acquiring content rights. He has substantial experience in the
acquisition and implementation of content into established and new
entertainment distribution systems.
As
an artist manager, Mr. Dutcher created sponsorship opportunities for his
clients with corporate sponsors such as Levi Strauss, Yamaha, Juicy
Couture, Airbourne Direct, Adventure LLC, Camel, Daisy Rock Guitars, Tank
Farm, Absolute Vodka, Paper Magazine, Sony Pictures Classics, Ford Modeling
Agency, Click Modeling Agency and other major sponsors. Prior to entering
the music business, Mr. Dutcher founded, designed and operated, WunderBar,
a 10,000 square foot successful club/restaurant in the Chelsea
section of New York.
