The
BellRays
Pioneering
the sound best summed up as "maximum Rock 'n Soul",
The Bellrays have been honing their craft over the course
of several years and several releases. Already rock icons
in Europe, the time has come for their unique sound to tear
the roof off of the States.
Channeling
equal parts fury and fragility, The Bellrays have lived and
breathed their music since their inception in 1990, packing
more emotion into one tune than most bands can throughout
the course of several albums. "Most people think that
a record is the complete culmination of all that goes into
a band", explains Kekaula. "When you use your voice,
guitar, bass, or drums to express feelings where words do
not exist, you are your own Superman and Kryptonite. In all
that The Bellrays do there is life, blood, emotion and dedication.
We know no other way. For every second of music on this recording
there was at least a day that led us both individually and
as a group to this point, by either practice, songwriting,
fighting, accounting, gigging, sleeping in the van, death,
etc. We have dedicated our lives to the art of rock and roll."

Lisa
Kekaula
"In
addition to being the lead singer of The BellRays, Lisa Kekaula
has become the de facto face of The Basement Jaxx, who won
the 2005
Grammy for Best Electronic/Dance Album Their recent greatest
hits package “The Singles” (featuring Lisa on
the songs, “Good Luck” and “U Don’t
Know Me”) has been certified multi-platinum in the UK.
One of the hardest working women in rock, when she’s
not appearing with The BellRays or Basement Jaxx, she can
be seen dazzling audiences with the reformed MC5.

The
Deadly Syndrome
Four young gentlemen were born to 8 parents. One from New York, One from Louisiana, and the rest from California. Through a series of fortunate events (broken bones, concussions, divorces, successful marriages, siblings, fishing trips, and dreams), the boys all found their way to Los Angeles. The California boys had already known each other from University, and moved there together. The New Yorker moved because it was time to move, and the New Orleanite, moved because of the weather. Then through jobs, and girlfriends the fellows came to realize that they wanted to do something more with their hands, so they built bridges, and verses, and pre-choruses. The 4 guys are now The Deadly Syndrome, where all have a hand in writing the music.

Laura Turner
Laura Turner has crafted an unmistakable sound that artfully unites her operatic training with the smoldering sensuality and emotional immediacy of only the best pop songwriting. Laura Turner may just be the most unique and talked about female artist in a long time.
